When I first started ABSOR, I knew I wanted to do something a little differently.

Not just start another service company. Not just drive around cleaning solar panels. And definitely not become one of those companies that tries to sell you five things when you only called for one.

I wanted to build a company around one simple idea:

If you have solar, your panels should be clean.

It sounds simple — and honestly, it is.

But the more I got into the solar panel cleaning business, the more I realized just how much there is to it.

Drive through almost any neighborhood in San Diego County and you'll see rooftops covered with solar panels. Homeowners made a major investment in solar because they wanted to produce their own electricity, reduce their energy costs, and take control of where their power comes from.

I think that's pretty incredible.

But I also started noticing something: a lot of those panels were filthy.

Dust, dirt, bird droppings, pollen, water spots — all the stuff that naturally builds up on a rooftop in Southern California.

And most homeowners don't really think about it. Why would they? You can't exactly stand on the ground and inspect every panel on your roof. You see the panels, you know they're producing electricity, and your monitoring app says everything is working.

So you assume everything is fine.

But there's a difference between working and working as well as it could.

That's where I come in.

Why Solar Panel Cleaning?

There are plenty of companies that clean windows, pressure wash homes, clean roofs, and do all kinds of exterior maintenance. Some of them also offer solar panel cleaning.

But I didn't want solar panel cleaning to be something ABSOR also does.

I wanted it to be what we do.

Solar panel cleaning isn't a side service. It's the mission.

That means I can focus on getting really good at one thing — the equipment, the cleaning methods, understanding different types of buildup, working safely around solar systems, and paying attention to the details.

And there's something incredibly satisfying about seeing the transformation.

You start with a panel covered in dust and grime. You clean it, and suddenly the glass is clear, the panels look better, and the entire roof looks better.

More importantly, you're helping someone take care of an investment they already made.

You already bought the solar. I'm here to help you take care of it.

The Future Is Solar

I think we're still relatively early in the story of residential solar.

More homes are going solar. More people are thinking about energy independence. And solar systems are becoming a normal part of the American home.

But if we're going to put millions of solar panels on rooftops, I think we should also start thinking about maintaining them properly.

A solar system is an investment. Like any investment, it deserves some attention.

That's the space I want ABSOR to occupy.

Building ABSOR

I'm building this business one customer at a time.

One roof at a time.

One neighborhood at a time.

My goal isn't to become the biggest solar cleaning company overnight. I'd rather become the company people in East County know when somebody asks:

“Hey, who cleans solar panels around here?”

I want the answer to be:

“Call ABSOR.”

That's the kind of reputation I'm trying to build — local, reliable, straightforward, professional, and focused on doing the job right.

No unnecessary upsells. No complicated contracts. No trying to turn a simple cleaning into something it isn't.

Just clean solar panels.

Where We're Going

I don't know exactly what ABSOR will look like five or ten years from now.

That's part of the fun.

I'm still learning, still figuring things out, and constantly looking for better equipment, better techniques, and better ways to serve customers.

But I do know where I want to go.

I want ABSOR to become synonymous with clean solar in San Diego's East County and beyond.

Because solar isn't just something you install and forget about.

It's an investment.

And like any good investment, it deserves some attention.

Solar is going to be a bigger and bigger part of our lives, and I'm excited to be a small part of that future.

But I believe that future should include something pretty simple:

Clean Solar.

That's the idea behind ABSOR.

That's the business I'm building.

And that's the future I'm working toward.

Welcome to the future… where all solar is clean.
